How To Increase RAM In Android Devices Using SD Card

We all know that Android is the brand of alteration and modifications if your android device is already rooted then this tutorial is the best to gain more knowledge relating how you can really increase your Android RAM without changing any hardware.
Just follow the below process and in the process of increasing your Android RAM, you need to understand what are the requirements to perform this tutorial.

Requirements:

  • Rooted Android Device
  • SD Card Must Be 4GB Or Higher(Class 4 or higher)
  • SD Card reader
  • Windows Computer
Follow the below process. Be sure that your SD card is formatted or blank! Follow the tutorial below.
Step1. Download and install a software called Mini Tool Partition for your Windows PC. This software will help you to do partition of your SD card, use your SD card reader to insert your SD card!

Step2. Now open Mini Tool Partition and from there just select your SD card and right click on that, and select delete(The delete button is for format)
Step3. Once your SD card formatted, right-click on that and select ‘Create“, it will create partitions, if your sd card is below 4GB then select “FAT” if higher then click on FAT32.

Step4. You can drag the Size and location, you must leave 1000MB on unallocated Space and the rest is for partition size. and Click OK.
Step5. Now you have left 1000MB unallocated space so need to get it located, again right-click on it and select Create, select Primary as the same on previous and then Ext2, not FAT32, in this you should not leave any unallocated space.Click OK done.

Step6. Now all done editing partition. Just Click Apply at the left top corner of your mini tool partition wizard.
Now move to Android device!
Step1. Download and install Link2sd from google play store on your Android.

Step2. Just open that downloaded application and it will ask for the rooted device if your device is rooted then it’s well and good or if not then you have to root your Android device. So after that, the application will ask you for the file system as .Ext partition, just select Ext2 if you had created the unallocated partition using Ext2 in the previous step, Click OK.

Step3. Prepare the application to take the partitioned space that we have taken 1000MB, and then link up all of them.

As I said at the beginning of the post, you are not adding any sort of hardware, Increasing RAM in Android means using your own SD card and approximately it will take 10-15 minutes to perform.

Hackers can bypass HTTPS protection on Windows, Linux and Mac PCs

HTTPS bypass allows hackers to snoop on Windows, Linux, and Mac users’ browsing habits


One of the main reason why all of us trust websites with HTTPS is because the surfing on such sites is invisible to hackers. Most of us are taught to believe that websites with HTTPS encryption are hacker and snooping proof. However, researchers have devised an attack that breaks this protection and bypasses the HTTPS protection allowing potential hackers to spy on you.
The attack works by bypassing the HTTPS encryption which is supposed to prevent this happening. HTTPS would normally prevent the operator seeing the URLs visited by users, but a new technique abuses Web Proxy Autodiscovery  and exposes browser requests to any code the network owner wants plug in. The bypass attack is specifically dangerous for those Windows, Linux and Mac users who use public Wi-Fi and public hotspots. The HTTPS bypass can also be used by your ISP provider to snoop directly on you without your knowledge.
Itzik Kotler, CTO and co-founder, and Amit Klein, VP of security research, at security firm SafeBreach will demonstrate how the attack works at next week’s Black Hat conference in a talk entitled Crippling HTTPS with Unholy PAC.
“People rely on HTTPS to secure their communication even when the LAN/Wi-Fi cannot be trusted (think public Wi-Fi/hotels/cafes/airports/restaurants, or compromised LAN in an organization),” Itzik Kotler, cofounder and CTO of security firm SafeBreach and one of the scheduled speakers, wrote in an e-mail. “We show that HTTPS cannot provide security when WPAD is enabled. Therefore, a lot of people are actually exposed to this attack when they engage in browsing via non-trusted networks.”

4 Ways to Run Linux Software on Windows


Many Windows users want to try Linux at some time. They may be different reasons for that, may be they are irritated by Windows updates, may be they love open source. If you are looking for a better development environment and powerful command-line tools, you can run Linux software on Windows.
Different options are available for running Linux software on Windows. It is easier than running Windows software on Linux, as you don’t need any software licenses for setting up a virtual machine with a free Linux distribution.

4 WAYS -


1. Virtual Machines

You can use Virtual machines to run any operating system in your Window PC. You can install the free VMware Player, or VirtualBox download ISO file for your favorite Linux distribution such as Ubuntu, and then install that Linux distribution inside the virtual machine.

You can boot and run Linux system in a window of your PC. You don’t need to leave your work behind in Windows and no need to restart. Even  games and advanced 3D effects will work just fine, but won’t want to use them anyway.

2. Cygwin

Cygwin is a set of tools that offer an environment similar to Linux on Windows. It is not a way of  running existing Linux software on Windows, the software have to be recompiled (much of it has already been recompiled). Cygwin gives you a Linux-like terminal and a command-line environment with many command-line programs you can use.

Cygwin is solution for users who are missing crucial Linux utilities on Windows . But it is not a way to run a full Linux desktop.

3. Install Ubuntu using Wubi

This method is actually installing Linux but not running Linux software on Windows. You will have to reboot each time you want to use Linux system just like in a standard dual-boot configuration.
Wait, Wubi follows a different approach while installing Ubuntu. Instead of creating a partition, it creates a special file on the Windows partition and uses that file as the Ubuntu drive. Which means that you can install Ubuntu uninstall Ubuntu without any partitioning.


4. Ported and Compiled Programs

Many Linux programs already have ported to Windows and compiled versions are made available online. If you really miss the Emacs, you will find versions of Emacs for Windows. If you want to run a specific program you like on Windows, do a Google search for the name of that program and include “Windows” . There is a good chance you will find a version of the program that has been ported to Windows.
